Plated teapot by Roberts & Belk, England
An elegant Queen Anne-style teapot manufactured by the English brand Roberts & Belk. The teapot features a classic shape, enhanced by a regular pattern at the base and on the lid, a decorative handle made of wood (ebony?), and an elegant finial. On the bottom are the manufacturer’s hallmarks (R&B—Roberts & Belk; S—silver-plated; and the teapot symbol used by Roberts & Belk, plus additional markings). On the front is the monogram WS (or SW). The jug is in good condition; the silver plating is partially damaged (as shown in the photos), and the handle is not original.
