Ruban Set, Christofle, Paris

An elegant Ruban cutlery set, manufactured by the renowned French company Christofle in Paris, which has been in operation from the 19th century to the present day.
A distinctive feature of the series is the delicate bow-shaped decoration (ruban) at the end of the handles, from which the collection takes its name. The cutlery combines gold-plated and silver-plated elements to create an elegant, decorative ensemble.
Individual pieces bear French hallmarks and Christofle manufacturer’s marks.
The set is preserved in its original, signed box, equipped with striking latches. It is an interesting example of antique tableware, preserved as a complete set along with its original packaging.
