Painter and printmaker, from 1908 to 1913 a student at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts in the studios of J. Pankiewicz and L. Wyczółkowski. He traveled to Italy, Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. He worked as a drawing teacher in Cracow, Sambor and Lviv. In the interwar period, he participated in exhibitions of the Krakow and Lviv TPSP and Warsaw TZSP, and exhibited in many cities in Poland, as well as in Vienna and France. He was interested in landscape, painted views of cities, and portrayed well-known figures from art and politics. The artist's graphic works brought him great popularity. His etchings and aquatints, executed under the clear influence of Leon Wyczółkowski, in addition to their high artistic value, document architectural monuments of Polish cities, old buildings and folk sculpture.
