A charming bibliophile gift on the occasion of Alexander Semkowicz's move to his new property at 36 Kadecka Street in Lviv. The item was written by Mieczyslaw Opałek, the printing was prepared by Lviv bibliophiles, and a "copy" of the pieces was embossed at the University Printing House, Lviv, Piekarska 3.

Aleksander Semkowicz (1885-1954) - bookbinder, bibliographer, lover and researcher of the works of Adam Mickiewicz, senator in the Second Republic. He initiated the creation of the Adam Mickiewicz Museum of Literature in Warsaw, and was its first director in 1950-1954.
