Biography
Ewa Ciepielewska (1960) is a graduate of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw (diploma in K. Jarodzki's studio), author of workshops with young people at Lycee Professionel in Vierzon (2016-2017). Together with Bożena Grzyb-Jarodzka and Paweł Jarodzki, she created the Luxus group, considered one of the most important artistic phenomena in Polish art of the late 1980s and early 1990s. She collaborated on the publication of the Cracow magazine "Friday Evening" and participated in the artistic events happening? Around it artistic events. She co-founded with Magda Mosiewicz (artistic duo Blue Panthers - Panterras Azzurras) the Volans Festival Outside the Walls. In 1997 she founded the Volans Association, which supports contemporary art and young artists. She is also co-author of the Vistula River Art Festival and the FLOW project - artist residencies on the Vistula River. She participates in group exhibitions at home and abroad, and is the author of solo exhibitions, outdoor actions, murals and socially engaged happenings. Her works are in private and museum collections at home and abroad.
