He was a Polish painter associated with the Warsaw art community, including the Crooked Circle Club
. Initially interested in art at the age of 15, he interrupted his work for more than two decades, returning to it in 1961. He painted portraits of well-known figures, including Jan Józef Lipski and Paweł Jasienica, focusing on the metaphor of human reverie.
