The artist was the son of Jozef, a Leipzig bookseller from Poland. He studied in Leipzig and Munich. He had a sister, Wanda the music teacher. In 1938 E.Einschlag, because of his Polish citizenship, was deported from the Third Reich to Poland. During the war he lived in Warsaw. Rare print.
