Most of the articles concern mountaineering and Polish alpinism [...]. 'Taterniczek' was initially a magazine typical of the mountaineering community; later, its character evolved to resemble that of a nationwide mountaineering and alpinism magazine. The predecessors of 'Taterniczek' were "Jednodniówka Krak. of the Krakow High-Mountain Club (1958 and 1959) and *Biuletyn Krak. Branch of the High-Mountain Club" (12 issues were published between 1959 and 1961). The magazine “Góry” (since 1991) is the successor to “Taterniczek” (WET 1242).
