Posthumously published memoirs of Zygmunt Kotiużyński (1826–1894), an economic activist and co-founder of the sugar industry in Ukraine. The author describes his experiences related to life as a landowner, his economic activities, and the political events of the 19th century, including the January Uprising in Ukraine.
