Painter, draughtsman, graphic artist, distinguished cultural activist associated with Lowicz. Initially he studied at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts under F. S. Kowarski and L. Pękalski (1930-1933), he continued his education at the School of Decorative Arts and Painting under Prof. Szulc and at the Academy of Fine Arts, from which he graduated in 1934. In his hometown he was a member of many cultural and social associations and was head of the Department of Culture of the District Office). In addition to painting and printmaking, he also designed monuments, commemorative plaques and various functional forms. In his works he depicted Lowicz and the surrounding area. His palette is characterized by bright, luminous colors.
