Landscapes are the most important painting motifs of Iwan Trusz. The mood of contemplation and tranquility can be captured in his compositions. A harmonious color palette was typical of his works especially in his mature period. Saturated, pure colors intensify the intensity of the perception of nature captured by the painter: sunsets, stately trees or haystacks. These elements of nature often recurred in the artist's paintings, and their repetition became an opportunity for painterly studies of light and color - different depending on the season or day. The offered painting is a flagship example of Ivan Trush's artistic sensitivity. Expressive brushstrokes of varying intensity, build up the texture of the painting. Luminous colors and a recognizable motif create a decorative whole.
