In 1946 he studied at the Higher School of Arts in Katowice and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He was friends with J. Kossak and painted in his studio in Kossakówka. In 1974 he settled in Vienna and became president of the " Strzecha" Polish community. He was greatly influenced by S. Kaczor - Batowski and Z. Rozwadowski. On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the Battle of Vienna, he painted a huge commemorative painting.
