Watercolor, pen, sepia, paper; dimensions: 28.00 x 34.50 cm; not signed Very good state of preservation. The drawing, subtly and sensitively complemented with colorful watercolor, captures the lyricism and intimacy of the scene. We peek - as if surreptitiously - into a room where peace and tranquility reigns, and we feel the closeness of the family located there. The artist uses deliberately simplified shapes; the gaze of the figures is directed directly at the viewer, who, entering from the outside, could disturb the bliss of the scene. The color scheme, as in other watercolor or oil paintings of the time, was limited to a few colors - black, gray, ochre and soft red.
